An exclusive afternoon for 20 invited guests
Have you been dreaming of commissioning a one-of-a-kind knitwear piece, but wished you could try it on first? Or perhaps you've been wanting to add to your MSGK collection but aren't quite sure which colours and styles suit you best?
For a very limited time, MSGK is opening its doors for an intimate Dublin event, offering a rare opportunity to experience the collection in person. Explore the knitwear up close in a private, calm setting, try on your favourite designs, discover which styles feel most like you, and see how different colours come to life.
As with everything MSGK, this gathering is intentionally small, with places limited to just 20 guests. Attendance must be confirmed 48 hours before the event. With only a small number of guests attending, you'll have the chance to experience the knitwear in a relaxed, private atmosphere, taking the time to try on styles, explore colours, and find the pieces that truly speak to you.
Spend an afternoon browsing the collection, chatting with Karen about the design process, exploring colour possibilities, and perhaps even commissioning a bespoke piece in time for the autumn/winter season. Whether you're already part of the MSGK community or have been admiring from afar, this is a unique chance to experience the knitwear exactly as it was intended: in person.
The details
-
Sunday 21st June 2pm-5pm.
-
The private space is beside our studio in Clancy Quay, Islandbridge, Dublin 8.
-
Islandbridge is beside Phoenix Park, and a 10 minute walk from Heuston Station. From the city you can take the 80 or the C-Spine buses. If driving, the nearest public carparks are at the War Memorial Gardens, at the Hilton Kilmainham, or at the IMMA. There is no parking at the facility and on-street parking is very limited, parking laws are strictly enforced in the area.
-
Expect a very casual intimate shop-style experience in a comfortable, calm setting. Pop in, have a wee drink, a chat, have a look through some of the pieces on the rails, try them on at your leisure, chat through sizing and colours and any alterations should you wish to commission a piece, and if not just enjoy the softness and colours!
-
We have a lovely 3FE downstairs where you can grab a coffee, a pastry, or a lunch. The war memorial gardens are across the road, where you can stroll along the canal, visit the incredible rose gardens, or feed the ducks. Phoenix Park is over the bridge where you can see the deer, or walk 10 minutes up the road to Kilmainham and take a saunter through the gardens or visit the IMMA. Make a day of it!
