All Miss She’s Got Knits parcels are shipped by tracked post with An Post. Please ensure you or someone from your household/workplace is there to receive it!
Please note that Miss She’s Got Knits does not currently ship outside the EU and does not ship to mainland UK (Scotland, England, Wales). This is really important to note prior to ordering, particularly if you are based in mainland UK.
Ready-to-Wear - Returns / Refunds.
Please only purchase Ready-to-Wear pieces if you have put real consideration into it. Take your time, think about it, decide if it’s for you. As a very small Irish hand-knit business, returns can be sadly quite disruptive and may result in the piece not being sold. It’s very rare that we do Ready-to-Wear, and very few pieces will be available.
With that said, in Ireland, you have a right to return within a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period when a product is not bought in a physical shop. The 14 days starts once goods are delivered. Please also be aware that MSGK knits are made by a real person, not by machine. If there is anything faulty with the garment I will endeavour to fix it.
Thank you for taking the time to consider your purchase.
Care instructions (from the yarn manufacturers)
Hand Wash, max 30°C / Dry Flat
Do NOT use regular detergent on wool. If required, use a wool specific detergent - not too much! - and always read the label before adding to your handwash basin.
All yarns have excess fibres (from production) that might come off as lint or shedding, in varied degrees that depend on how the yarn is spun. Brushed yarns ("hairier" yarns) have more of these loose fibers than other yarns, and therefor, shed more.
Shedding also depends on what is worn under or over the garment, and whether this pulls at the yarn fibres. It’s therefore not possible to guarantee that there will be no shedding.
Below are some tips on how to care for natural fibres:
Do NOT use a lint roller, brush or any method that pulls at the yarn.
Place the garment in a plastic bag and put it in your freezer - the temperature will cause the fibres to become less attached to each other, and excess fibres will come off easier. Leave in the freezer for a few hours before taking it out and shaking it again.
Wash the garment according to the instructions on the yarn label. Garments with hairier yarns usually need to be shaken once dry after washing, so that the hairs rise and any excess fibres can come off.
Sustainability
TheBigPink is 100% knit by hand in 71% Superfine Alpaca, 25% Merino Wool, 4% Polyamide*. Yarn is purchased locally, and in small batches so that waste is kept to a very strict minimum.
Superfine Alpaca and Merino Wool is from South American, Polyamide from Germany.
MSGK yarn has been chosen for its quality, local availability, and the transparency of its producers.
From the yarn producers*:
“Our supplies mainly come from producers within the European market which, in the same way as Norway (where our main office and warehouse are situated), shall follow the EU’s taxonomy for a sustainable economy. They also, of course, follow the EU’s regulations regarding human rights, animal welfare and sustainability. We have deliveries from Peru, where our alpaca yarn comes from, and they have very similar regulations to the EU regarding these issues and they work actively with social responsibility.
“Our yarn producers work with and offer a wide spectrum of certifications for their products, such as GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard, RWS- Responsible Wool Standard, RAS - Responsible Alpaca Standard, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and Certified Sustainable Mohair.

MSGK pieces are transported by An Post, and packaged in simple but functional cardboard boxes sourced from Northern Ireland. Knits are wrapped in bright tissue paper, purchased from a local art supply shop in Dublin. Labels and swing tags (which are tied by hand using twine) were designed by a wonderful girl from Galway, and produced in the UK. Thank You cards and vouchers are designed in-house, and printed in Dublin.
